Leg Muscles

Hay, here's a mini blog.
Been so tired lately just trying to work on this image.

The actual muscles are to the left and the right was me playing around with my pastels to see what they would look with colour and hopefully more for tin-y for the Tin man, from wizard of Oz.

I'm unsure if I like the right leg or not, I think I may have to wait till I see it in a better pose.

Just trying to get good muscle definition, for my up coming drawing for the tin man.

 

Apples

Here are some quick apple colour studies, I am doing for a book cover illustration. 

Done in pastels and some white ink.
Found out doing these that wetting pastel smooths out the colour and allows to build up stronger tones!

Sorry it's a day late, my hand started aching after drawing all them scales.

I hope you all ate lots of yummy noodles, I know I did!

This was done for Illustration Friday, this weeks word is "Twirl"  

So my dragon is twisting and twirling his was around the text, Yay.

Done in pastels and some biro this time.

Not sure how I came up with this idea, tis was a challenge to shade in white.
Im quite happy how this went.

Just a mini Post before I head home for Christmas.

Some quick animal doodles in paint, I did to kill some time in the studio. 

They're not amazing but I had the urge to paint animals, I think I blame Miss Savage for that =p
